Providing vibration isolation products for precision equipment at Samsung factories

The state-of-the-art wafer technology is being integrated into the CVD equipment at Samsung (China) Semiconductor Co., Ltd.'s main factory. With the equipment now operational, Samsung's semiconductor factory in Xi'an has officially commenced operations.

Since the project's inception, construction has progressed steadily in accordance with the established timeline, with overall progress proceeding smoothly. Currently, construction of the main factory is nearing completion. In December, all Samsung staff members have moved into the main factory building's office area. In November, various equipment required for the project was transported to the main factory building via cargo charter flights. After over a month of intensive installation and testing, the main equipment was largely in place yesterday, and the high-quality wafers (silicon wafers used in the production of silicon semiconductor integrated circuits, which are circular in shape and thus referred to as wafers) were successfully deployed, laying a solid foundation for mass production in the first half of next year. The water supply, power supply, gas supply, heating, road, and comprehensive bonded zone construction sections undertaken by the Xi'an District have been put into use.
