Transverse type corrugated expansion joint There are several popular ones such as: large tie rod corrugated compensator, small tie rod corrugated compensator, coal powder three-way corrugated expansion joint three-dimensional corrugated compensator, etc. The main movement structure is composed of two bellows, intermediate receiver and tie rod and other parts, which can absorb the lateral displacement in any plane of the pipe system. Transverse displacement occurs when the spherical nut on the tie rod spherical washer rotation, while the tie rod also has the ability to withstand the internal pressure thrust.
 
Mainly used in the pipeline L, Z pipeline location, pay special attention to the installation of large tie rod transverse type corrugated compensator branch pipeline with the corresponding compensation amount of axial type compensator (axial type compensator should be added in front of the fixed bracket), in order to reduce the transverse type corrugated compensator to bear the transverse deformation.

Large tie rod transverse type corrugated expansion joint belongs to universal transverse type, in addition to withstand large transverse deformation, but also can absorb the thermal deformation of the middle long receiver. If you do not need to balance the thrust of the internal pressure with a tie rod, it can also compensate for the axial deformation from the pipeline, the so-called "universal expansion joint". As the bending and axial deformation occurs simultaneously and the axial deformation is shared by the two bellows, they are just required to give a limit to the deformation in the expansion joint structure, in order to evenly distribute the deformation of the bellows, so that their respective deformation does not exceed the rated value.
 
2 . Other transverse type corrugated expansion joints are required to balance the internal pressure thrust by the tie rod, it can be lateral and its own thermal deformation compensation. If it does not need to balance the internal pressure thrust by the tie rod, it can bear the axial compensation, which is also a kind of universal expansion joint.
 
Transverse expansion joint has the following advantages: (1) it can carry out large displacement compensation; (2) the axial force caused by internal pressure is balanced by its own tie rod and hinge, making its bracket a sub-fixed bracket and reducing the cost of the bracket; (3) the tie rod transverse type also has the ability to absorb axial deformation, which can play its role in the pipeline with more complex deformation; (4) its greater advantage is that because it is structurally protected by the tie rod and hinge (4) its greater advantage is that because of the protection of the structure by the tie rod and hinge, the installation error of the pipeline or even accident is not as sensitive as the axial expansion joint, sometimes even if there is a pipeline accident will not damage the expansion joint.
