When through the floor or wall, waterproof casing installation must use a reasonable method. It must choose a reasonable length of casing according to the plane position of the building, the location of the foundation and the thickness of the wall. Since the outer wall of the waterproof casing is usually made of copper sheet, it must be welded on the wall. For horizontal pipe sections special elbows should be used for installation. When carried out at the same time as the pipe through the floor, the casing should be welded at both the upper and lower pipe positions on one side of the pipe. Holes should be punched in the wall beforehand, and then the casing should be installed and the holes should be sealed. After the installation of casing is completed, the floating ash and debris on the surface of casing should be removed; and the surface of casing should be completely wiped clean or painted with brush, putty and varnish, and the number of painted layers should not be less than 2 layers.
