In addition, this welding connection method is costly and is usually used for thick-walled and large diameter pipes. Threaded connections have many processing procedures and high accuracy requirements, and are generally used for thick-walled stainless steel pipes or where live joints are required. Excellent resistance to grain boundary corrosion after welding or stress relief, and good corrosion resistance can be maintained without heat treatment.
