China achieves multiple breakthroughs in key pipeline technologies

At the China International Pipeline Conference and Technology Equipment Exhibition, it was announced that China has achieved significant breakthroughs in key pipeline technologies. China's domestically developed fully automatic welding inspection robot for oil and gas pipelines can perform welding on all terrains and all types of weld joints, as well as fully automatic ultrasonic welding inspection, with a first-pass weld qualification rate exceeding 98%. Additionally, the 1,422-millimetre ultra-large-diameter natural gas pipeline internal inspection equipment and the large-scale long-distance natural gas pipeline network online simulation system were also showcased at the exhibition. These technologies and equipment have filled domestic gaps and reached international advanced levels.
