How high is the temperature resistance of EPDM rubber expansion joint?

The material of high temperature resistant rubber soft joint used in high temperature environment is EPDM rubber. EPDM rubber is a copolymer of ethylene, propylene and a small amount of non-conjugated diolefin, which is a kind of ethylene propylene rubber. It has excellent aging resistance such as ozone resistance, heat resistance, weather resistance, etc. It can be widely used in automobile parts, waterproof materials for construction, wire and cable sheathing, heat-resistant hoses, tapes, automotive seals, etc.
Wide range of applicable temperature, the minimum use temperature -40 ~ -60 ℃, can be used for a long time in 130 ℃ conditions.
Inner rubber layer: EPDM rubber, which can enhance the resilience, compression permanent deformation, electrical properties, tear strength, water solubility, high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance of rubber joints. The inner rubber lining layer extends to the outer face of the rubber expansion joint flange, and its performance is able to prevent water leakage and scouring.
Outer rubber layer: EPDM rubber has the properties of aging resistance, heat resistance, water resistance, acid and alkali resistance, ozone resistance, etc. Through a reasonable formula, the highest use temperature of EPDM rubber can reach 140℃, and the brittle temperature is -15℃~55℃.
