Which media are the disassembly joints suitable for pipelines?

Nov-22-03
Dismantling joints are suitable for conveying seawater, fresh water, hot and cold water, drinking water, domestic sewage, crude oil, fuel oil, lubricating oil, refined oil, air, gas, steam with temperature not higher than 250 degrees and granular powder.

So, why is it necessary to install dismantling joints in the pipelines conveying these media?

If this phenomenon occurs at the pipeline interface, the pipeline may be broken, thus affecting the transportation of these media.

The dismantling joint can be axially expanded and contracted within a certain range, and it can also overcome the offset caused by the different axial direction of the pipeline docking within a certain angle, which can facilitate the installation and dismantling of valves and pipelines, and it can be freely expanded and contracted within the allowable expansion and contraction amount of the pipeline, and once the expansion and contraction amount is exceeded, it can play a limiting role to ensure the operation of the pipeline.

Dismantling joints are mainly used to ensure pipeline operation and have the following functions: compensate and absorb pipeline axial, lateral and angular thermal deformation; absorb equipment vibration and reduce the impact of equipment vibration on pipelines; absorb the deformation of pipelines caused by earthquakes and land subsidence.

Dismantling joints are products for connecting equipment such as pumps, valves, pipes to pipelines, etc. They are connected by full bolts to make them whole and have a certain amount of displacement for easy installation.
