Overview

Rectangular metallic bellows expansion joints are fabricated to absorb vibration and thermal movements in duct systems. High profile, low spring-rate corrugations will allow for large amounts of movement in short face-to-face designs. Flanges can be either internal or external. A variety of alloys can be used to assure trouble-free operation in high temperature conditions. Axial, lateral, and angular movement can all be accommodated. Similar low-pressure bellows are also manufactured for circular duct systems.

Rectangular metal pipe expansion joints have a variety of applications in the power, petrochemical, refining, chemical, and steel industries. Like circular pipe expansion joints, rectangular pipe expansion joints absorb three types of movement: axial, lateral and angular. For the purpose of designing rectangular bellows, it is critical to know in which direction the lateral and angular movements will occur, i.e. parallel to the long and/or short side of the bellows. Unlike circular bellows where the pressure stress is a circumferential membrane (hoop) stress, the rectangular bellows must be designed for longitudinal (beam) bending stresses.
 

Features

Corrugated compensator belong to a kind of compensation component. Making use of bellows effective expansion and deformation to absorb pipe, tube, container deformation cause by thermal expansion and cold contraction, or compensate pipe, tube and container axial, lateral and angular direction displacement. Also can be used in noise and vibration reduction.

Function:
1.When pipeline cross the foundation beam or basement wall, in order to avoid base fell have pressure on pipeline, need install square compensator.   
2. If the heat pipe is too long, need install square compensator to reduce pipeline stretching caused by thermal expansion and cold contraction.
