Two types of flexible waterproof casing
Flexible waterproof casing is a kind of pipe fitting installed inside the wall. Its function is to protect the pipes outside the wall from safely passing through the wall into the wall. Its easy installation and durability have won the favor of many customers. Flexible waterproof casing is generally divided into two types, which we call Type A and Type B. They are two similar but slightly different types of waterproof casing. The appearance length and size are the same, and the difference lies in the rubber ring between the gland and the valve body. These two types of waterproof casing have different rubber rings chosen for use in the process, which can be used in a more reasonable way. Generally speaking, the cross-section of type A rubber ring is round, while the cross-section of type B rubber ring is trapezoidal. Yes, different cross-sections will produce different installation positions.

Walls are generally divided into interior walls and exterior walls. Generally speaking, external wall leakage is very common. The external wall is the wall in direct contact with the outside world in the project, i.e. the external wall of the building. Therefore, it is necessary to add a B-type waterproof casing with better sealing performance on the outside of the wall when it is used. Because the rubber ring is trapezoidal, the gland and the valve body under pressure, its contact surface will be larger than the A type. So the sealing is relatively good. Type A is suitable for installation on the inner wall, which is a wall separating a large room, because there is little contact with water inside, so this installation does not require high sealing of the waterproof casing, and the requirements for waterproofing are relatively small. As for the choice of purchase, you need to buy according to your needs. Not all casing with good sealing performance is good casing. The best one is the one that suits the installation area.
