What is the working pressure of rubber joints

The working pressure of rubber joints is the highest pressure that rubber joints can withstand when they are in operation. It includes the pressure generated by air, compressed air, water, seawater, hot water, oil, acid, alkali and other fluids passing through the pipeline.

The common working pressure of rubber joints is 1.0MPa and 1.6MPa, which are the two most used pressures. Of course, the working pressure of rubber joints includes but is not limited to these two, as it also has 0.25MPa, 0.6MPa, 1.0MPa, 1.6MPa, and 2.5MPa.

Bursting pressure of rubber joints means that rubber joints may burst, tear and be damaged under such pressure. Therefore, the pressure of the pipeline is required not to exceed the burst pressure.

Rubber joint is a kind of flexible joint for metal pipeline. It consists of inner rubber layer, steel wire, nylon cord reinforcement, outer rubber layer compound rubber joint sphere and loose-fitting metal flange.
