Which media are suitable for dismantling joints

Oct-22-31
As we all know, disassembly joints are divided into: rubber disassembly joints and stainless steel disassembly joints according to material. Today we are going to understand which pipeline media the disassembly joints are suitable for.

Disassembly joints are suitable for conveying seawater, fresh water, hot and cold water, drinking water, domestic sewage, crude oil, fuel oil, lubricating oil, refined oil, air, gas, steam with temperature not higher than 250 degrees and granular powder.

So, why is it necessary to install disassembly joints in the pipelines conveying these media?

Because when transporting these media over long distances, the pipeline will have the phenomenon of thermal expansion and contraction due to temperature difference. If this phenomenon occurs at the pipeline interface, it may cause the pipeline to break, thus affecting the transport of these media, and expansion joints can compensate for the expansion and contraction of the pipeline caused by temperature difference and play a very good regulating role.

The disassembly joint can be axially expanded and contracted within a certain range, and it can also overcome the offset caused by different axial directions of pipeline docking within a certain angle, which can facilitate the installation and disassembly of valves and pipelines, and it can be freely expanded and contracted within the allowable expansion and contraction capacity of pipelines, and once the expansion and contraction capacity is exceeded, it can play a limiting role to ensure the operation of pipelines.

Disassembly joints are mainly used to ensure the operation of pipelines and have the following functions: to compensate and absorb the axial, lateral and angular thermal deformation of pipelines; to absorb the vibration of equipment and reduce the impact of equipment vibration on pipelines; to absorb the deformation of pipelines caused by earthquakes and land subsidence.

Disassembly joints are products for connecting equipment such as pumps, valves, pipes to pipelines, etc. They are connected by full bolts to make them whole and have a certain amount of displacement for easy installation.
