Built-in duckbill valve

Overview

The built-in duckbill valve is highly effective in wastewater systems, drainage systems, dam drainage, airport/highway drainage, wastewater tank drainage, and odour prevention. Featuring a fully rubber construction, it never rusts or corrodes. It does not deform or freeze during opening or closing, eliminating backflow. It also prevents sagging due to debris accumulation, ensuring a tight seal. Application areas include drainage systems (e.g., reservoirs, large pump stations, flood control systems, etc.). When used in large pump stations (reservoirs), this product ensures that discharged water does not flow back.

Features

The built-in duckbill valve is an ideal product for urban rainwater and sewage systems. It features an all-rubber construction, corrosion resistance, a long service life, excellent performance, and provides a tight seal to prevent backflow and backwater. It requires no maintenance and is an ideal check valve. However, the head loss increases due to the reduced inner diameter compared to the original pipeline.
The valve is manufactured as a single unit comprising a rubber flange valve body and duckbill, and is equipped with a metal flange with a gasket. It can be naturally connected to metal flanges and directly installed on tanks, pipes, and embankments. During installation and connection, the flange dimensions must correspond to those of the connecting flange. Depending on specific conditions, waterproof adhesive should be applied between the flanges to ensure a truly sealed connection after tightening. Care must be taken not to damage the flange lip of the rubber sewage check valve.
