Application of rectangular corrugated expansion joints

Dec-22-04
Rectangular corrugated expansion joints are manufactured to individual size and functional requirements by combining standard corrugated elements and corner configurations with self-developed manufacturing methods for use as pipe bellows. They can be used as single or universal rectangular joints designed to absorb the axial and lateral movements caused by thermal expansion of rectangular piping systems. The most common materials used for bellows elements are different grades of stainless steel and carbon steel for end connections. The choice of material is mainly determined by the conditions of use.

Rectangular corrugated expansion joints can be made with rounded or beveled corners. It absorbs axial, lateral and angular movements similar to those of round metal expansion joints. The bellows element is made of stainless steel 304/ 316 depending on the conditions of use. Pipe corrugated expansion joints are manufactured according to the required dimensional limits. These types of compensators are available in various configurations of corners, such as square. Angled. Double beveled joints. Rounded corners. Double bellows rectangular corrugated compensators with flanged ends.

Rectangular corrugated expansion joints can also be provided with additional accessories such as internal flow liners, limit bolts, etc. to positively control the movement and expansion of the pipe. These pipe expansion joints can be provided with weldable pipe ends which can be welded into the pipe. They can also be provided with flange ends with the desired drilling pattern so that they can be installed in existing clearances that match the drilling of matching flanges so that they can simply be bolted to existing matching flanges available in the pipe. Absorbs thermal growth in the pipeline and provides protection for adjacent piping and equipment. Provides compensation and misalignment as well as component stresses.
