Overview
Rubber joints, also known as flexible rubber joints, flexible rubber joints, soft rubber joints, shock absorber, (shock absorbers throat), rubber shock absorbers, rubber expansion joints and so on. The product consists of inner and outer layers of plastic, ply and bead composition tubular rubber parts, high temperature, high pressure molding after curing with metal flanges or parallel connector loose jacket combination. This product utilizes the high elasticity of rubber, high gas resistance, chemical resistance, weatherability and resistance to radiation and other advantages to reduce vibration and noise, and thermal expansion and contraction due to temperature changes from the compensation due to the widely used various piping systems.
Connection: Generally loose flange type (semi-hermetic), fixed flange (sealed), clamp and threaded connections.
Soft rubber joints Material:
Soft rubber joints ball is from the inside layer, scraping gum enhanced multi-layer nylon (nylon) cord fabric, rubber outer layer composite tubes. Depending on the medium used rubber material is also different, there are natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, butyl rubber, nitrile rubber, EPDM rubber, neoprene, silicone rubber, fluorine rubber and so on. Respectively, with heat, acid, alkali, corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, oil and other functions.
Features
Axiale, laterale, angulare sowie kombinierte Bewegungsaufnahmen sind möglich. Zur Aufnahme großer Bewegungen werden Universal-Kompensatoren mit zwei Gummibälgen und Zwischenrohr eingesetzt.
Typical arch type rubber expansion joints are single wide arch and multiple wide arch types, the latter for use in longer length joints. As the length of an expansion joint span increases, up to a recommended maximum of four arches can be used to accommodate movement over long lengths.
Robust design with integral rubber flanges for secure connections.
Available in multiple rubber elastomers.
Available with optional control unit tie rods to prevent overextension.
Moves in both axial and lateral offset directions.
Second arch provides more movement.
